The "V" Bar

The most time I spent in a Gay Bar would have been the time I spent at "V" Bar (not it's real name) but has  been closed. The bar itself was big, clean, had very cute boys and expensive. This was the time that I was "constant" to the scene. Although I visited other bars in the Metro, this was my favorite during the time. Simply because the management, staff and the boys had a different welcoming compared to the other bars.

Boys were well trained, trained to their benefit of course. They knew what to say, how to say it and most had their own managers who look after them. In which then would push the customers to make "sabit" when their talents are on stage.

Obviously I was oblivious to all of these at the time.

I eventually met "a few good men" and tabled them constantly. I had my fair share of investment in that establishment. I can't even begin to mention the amount of money I spent on these boys and their drinks and their tips plus waiter's and manager's tips.

During this time, dancers drinks were at P470- P520 (I do not recall exactly) and you had specific booths depending on minimum spend. I usually tipped the Manager P500, Waiters at P300. Sometimes I would table three boys at minimum of at least seven drinks each. I used to spend at minimum P10K- P20K per night plus tips and I would visit at least five times a month.

NOTE: Never again should anyone spend this much money in these bars, I learned the hard way.

I guess they knew what they were doing and that was the main reason I kept coming back. They knew how to play and I fell for it. I do not regret the time spent there but there was a stage where I felt that I was played too much and the boy I liked a lot was not honoring his side of the deal and the manager had everything to do with it. This is saying it lightly.
