"DB"

This was one of the few bars that I went to when I was first starting in the field of "Gay Bar Hopping"...

This was the cheapest and the not so attractive bar I have ever been to but this is open to everything. It's along Aurora Blvd in QC. From what I remember, the CR was dirty, the tables were close to each other and the place is quite small.

I tabled a few times and nothing too impressive but they were youngish. Shows are good and flesh aplenty.

I remember towards the end of the night, some MD's were approaching me to do an "area". This was not part of the show at all, this was very random. I was seated and then they would suddenly stand in front of me, start removing their undergarments and start dancing. It was uncomfortable being watched by people but I loved it.

You need to experience this.....seedy but worth it.

I haven't been there for a while so I cannot really talk about what it's like now.

"WB"

This is one of the bars that is along Roxas Blvd and is quite popular with Korean women. It's been a while since I've been here and is quite pricey amongst the bars.

The place is big and there are a lot of men of all sizes and looks. They have an aquarium that you can select the man of your liking or you can do a "show-up". Show-up is when all the boys are called to your table for you to select the one you wish to table. They have some booths are that have a minimum spend and I did get to know one of the floor managers there. They are not very pushy but comes to your table now and again to ask you.

To me, the men here are well trained. They are very familiar with how to treat or what to say to guests. They are open to meeting outside and quite good at what they do so beware of spending more than you have to.

I have never used their VIP rooms nor have I really overspent in this bar. Drinks for MD are expensive and I control myself. I did frequently table someone there but it did not end well.

There are so many things happening on this street that you can discretely enter the premises. The place is dark enough and big enough for you to remain anonymous.

Their big nights are usually good, they did spend a lot of time organizing it.

Minimal to none ATW.

Philippine Indie Films

There was a stage where there was endless Filipino "Gay themed" indie films. Although some people say that they are after the storyline and it should not be all about sex. Well consider me different, storyline does not bother me. I watch the indie films to see men and man to man action, how it's executed and how much it turns me on.

I have watched majority of these films, there are some I totally love and others just wasted my time.

Films I've watched include Wanted Male Boarders, Hikbi, Muli, Bahid, Bola, Summer Boys, Kape Barako, Pagnanasa, I'dnal, Salo, Tarima, Campus Crush, anything Discreetly, Kayod Marino, Showboyz, Quicktrip, Walang Kawala, Dreamguys and the list goes on.

My top three films are:
This movie shows a lot of men and the scenes are such a turn on... there are plenty of them and they are not mini scenes. Marco Morales is totally flawless here and brilliant in all sense of the word.

Flesh galore, I had fun, fun, fun with this film. The thought of men in those little bars in Clark gives me goosebumps, makes you want to visit Angeles City over and over again. Frontal aplenty.

A film by Monti Parungao filled with men, men , men and their bits. Although it's scenes are short, it's very enjoyable. There's something about bangkeros and hoping I will meet some that are as hot as these boys.

To me, the films made during indie peak are the best ones out there.

My worst films????? Not even worth mentioning.

Hope there will be more to cum (literally)

The "V" Bar

The most time I spent in a Gay Bar would have been the time I spent at "V" Bar (not it's real name) but has  been closed. The bar itself was big, clean, had very cute boys and expensive. This was the time that I was "constant" to the scene. Although I visited other bars in the Metro, this was my favorite during the time. Simply because the management, staff and the boys had a different welcoming compared to the other bars.

Boys were well trained, trained to their benefit of course. They knew what to say, how to say it and most had their own managers who look after them. In which then would push the customers to make "sabit" when their talents are on stage.

Obviously I was oblivious to all of these at the time.

I eventually met "a few good men" and tabled them constantly. I had my fair share of investment in that establishment. I can't even begin to mention the amount of money I spent on these boys and their drinks and their tips plus waiter's and manager's tips.

During this time, dancers drinks were at P470- P520 (I do not recall exactly) and you had specific booths depending on minimum spend. I usually tipped the Manager P500, Waiters at P300. Sometimes I would table three boys at minimum of at least seven drinks each. I used to spend at minimum P10K- P20K per night plus tips and I would visit at least five times a month.

NOTE: Never again should anyone spend this much money in these bars, I learned the hard way.

I guess they knew what they were doing and that was the main reason I kept coming back. They knew how to play and I fell for it. I do not regret the time spent there but there was a stage where I felt that I was played too much and the boy I liked a lot was not honoring his side of the deal and the manager had everything to do with it. This is saying it lightly.

Gay Bars- Deal or No Deal?

Eto na, maumpisahan na nga. I would not say that I am 150% into Gay bars pero I do not say that I do not visit one now and again. Sa totoo lang, I find it quite enjoyable- within reasons.

I have had an argument with a friend about going to these places, He asked me "What is so enjoyable about watching macho dancers do the same moves over and over again?"

You know what? I had no answer for that. I just like to watch but it made me think. Here are maybe some VALID reasons why I still go:

1. I do like the ambiance in some bars- the music, etc
2. Free air-con
3. Some of these boys are quite hot regardless of their profession
4. I have set myself a limit on money I spend on each visit
5. I don't get attached to anyone I table.

Convinced yet?

Over the next few blogs, I will give you a run down of the bars I visited.

At Last!

Hello Gay World! I guess it's about time I do this and thought others would probably benefit from the soon-to-be contents of my blog. Now's the time.

I've always liked to research things before I go to places; I've read what people thought and saw pic's they have posted. Ang nakakainis, minsan wala masyadong context kaya I thought I would do my own blog.

This blog will be filled with places I've visited both in Manila and abroad. My thoughts about them and kung ano mang merong secret ang lugar na yon.

Hope you enjoy!!!!
